Polystichum Braunii

This is a clumping native fern, with thick, dark green fronds. Stalks or stems are covered in golden-brown scales that contrast nicely against the leaflets. Dense, upright and arching habit, the fronds arising from a single point, giving a formal appearance. Easy and reliable. Evergreen in milder winter regions.
