Griselinia Canterbury

A dependable, quick growing shrub with smaller, deep green leaves with contrasting red stems. Can grow to 5m+ but easily trimmed to between 1.5m and 2m tall. The most popular uses for this native shrub is as a hedge for which we recommend spacing of 75cm to 1m apart or as part of a mass native plant out.

Description

A dependable, quick-growing shrub forming a dense, attractive hedge. ‘Canterbury’ is known for its’ attractive dark red stems and finer rich-green foliage. Ideal background shrub but at its best when used as a hedge. Tolerant of just about any planting conditions including coastal.  Evergreen.  Plant in well-drained soil in full sun or part shade. Grows to H 5m x W 3m.Form of G.Llittoralis.
